There are 2,191,455 days in 6,000 years.
If each year were 365 days long, the answer would be (6000 years)(365 days/year) = 2,190,000.
Taking leap years into account requires adding 6000/4 = 1500 leap year days, for a total of 2,191,500 days. However, every 100 years we skip a leap year (as we did in 1900), so we must subtract 6000/100 = 60 days to get 2,191,440 days. And every 400 years, we put the leap year back in (as we did in 2000), so we add 15 days to get the final answer.
